Good to know
Questions, answered
Can it go in the washing machine?
Yes, on a delicate cycle. Air dry rather than tumble dry to keep the pile soft and the filling in shape.
Will the filling flatten over time?
Fibre filling compresses gradually under daily use. Fluffing the rim by hand after each wash brings most of the volume back.
Is it too warm for summer?
It is designed to work year round, but it is a plush bed. In a hot room, most animals will move off it on their own.
Does the fabric shed at first?
Long-pile plush can release a few loose fibres during the first washes. Washing it separately the first couple of times limits it.
