Will my cat actually use it?

Most cats need a little coaxing at first. Use the lock pin to hold the wheel still, reward your cat for stepping on, then release it once your cat is comfortable.

Is it noisy at night?

The running surface is rated at 28 dB, which is around the level of a quiet room. It is designed to be usable while people are asleep nearby.

What is the lock pin for?

It stops the wheel turning. Useful while your cat is learning, and for keeping it still when it is not in use.

Can a dog use it?

No. This is built for cats. For dogs, look at the ROV Running Machine instead.
