Is it big enough for me and my dog?
It is sized for an adult and a large dog side by side, or several smaller dogs. If you are over 1.80 m, ask us for the exact measurements first: past that height, comfort depends a lot on whether you sit or curl up rather than lie flat.
Can it go in the washing machine?
The outer cover does, on a delicate cycle. The inner padding is not washed separately, as on almost every bed of this format.
Will the filling flatten over time?
Fibre filling compresses gradually under heavy daily use. That is true of the whole category rather than a fault specific to this bed.
Does it smell when unboxed?
Beds of this type are vacuum-packed for transport and can carry a faint smell on opening. It clears after a few days of airing.
Does the fabric shed at first?
Thick plush can release a few loose fibres during the first washes. Washing it separately the first couple of times limits it.
Can I use it outdoors?
No. This is an indoor product: the plush and the filling are not made to handle outdoor damp.
